Yoga on the chair

This offering is suitable for anyone with limited mobility, those in wheelchairs, or anyone who prefers a very gentle chair-based yoga practice with plenty of stretching and breathing exercises.

Together, we gently stretch and lengthen the whole body, becoming aware that even a restricted or painful body can become more flexible and less painful with regular yoga practice.

We also support body parts that may have weakened or stopped functioning by using positive affirmations. This strengthens our body image, contributing to both our inner and outer well-being.

In 2020, I founded a weekly yoga class at the Brühl retirement and nursing home in Spreitenbach, which I have been leading regularly since, contributing to the well-being of the residents who often give me positive feedback.

In my own yoga practice since 2005, I have gradually moved toward a gentle and compassionate approach to yoga. Whereas I previously focused more on endurance and performance, today I emphasize a holistic, gentle yoga practice and a loving approach to our bodies, along with positive affirmations and visualizations.

I am also happy to organize new yoga classes at retirement and nursing homes, other institutions, or organizations in your area—please feel free to reach out to me.
