Art and Therapy?
In the first step, you express yourself using colors and shapes. This allows you direct access to your inner world—to your thoughts and feelings that actively influence your well-being. This initial expression alone can be healing, as sometimes we don’t even have the words to express our feelings or emotions.
In the second step, you begin to know and understand yourself better, along with your beliefs and thought patterns. You essentially uncover these aspects. Some are connected to your life themes, while others stem from your childhood and are often unconsciously passed down from parents or caregivers.
Through understanding these patterns, you learn to tap into your inner strengths and resources, allowing you to flow with the stream of life once again. The result is greater self-acceptance, a sense of connectedness, and inner peace. You become increasingly familiar with yourself and learn to integrate self-care into your daily life.
In the final step—transformation—you discover new, creative solutions for your current life, and I will mindfully support you through your personal process.
I can’t paint!

You don’t need to know how to paint for art therapy! The images are an expression of your inner self—they can be chaotic, “ugly,” or raw. Everything is allowed because it’s about your process, not aesthetics. Often, images are painted over or transformed. Thick paper, not canvas, is used to give you complete freedom.
How Does an Art Therapy Session Work?

In an art therapy session, the focus is on you. We begin with a personal conversation to get to know each other and identify your main concerns. Then, you can freely express yourself using materials such as paper, clay, plaster, or newspapers. No artistic skills are required – it’s all about giving space to what’s inside you. Your creations can be transformed, painted over, or left as they are. A session lasts 60 to 75 minutes and concludes with a discussion about what has been created.
The benefits for you:
Art therapy provides a safe space where you can build trust and open up. Through creative expression, you reduce stress, find relief, and connect with your emotions – even those that words cannot describe. It strengthens your self-confidence, promotes clarity, and helps you discover new perspectives on your concerns. Whether you need stabilization during challenging times or want to explore new paths, the therapy supports you on your journey to greater well-being and inner balance.
Since my childhood, I have harnessed the power of artistic expression and experienced a deep connection with myself during moments of creation and painting.
Since 2020, I have been offering regular art therapy sessions. As I reside in various locations, you might also be interested in the option of online sessions.
